Thanks to Joe, Brian, Ron, Dennis, Mike and Larry, the day before the Festival the gazebo and flags were standing proudly by 3pm. We were primed for our fourth two-day annual awareness campaign. The weather is always such a determining factor in our success at this event and thankfully we were blessed with two days of sunshine. On Saturday 20th May 2017 the Harrow Petanque Club at Pinner View Sports Club will be hosting a Petanque charity event in Alan Leadbetter's memory. The one-off doubles match will start at 11am. It will be a match that will include beginners, Alan's neighbours and friends of other Petanque players. It will not be that formal, but a day of fun. All funds raised will be donated to the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre at Mount Vernon Hospital & action for M.E.
